HONG KONG, CHINA -1997 (What is the way to Abkhazia?!)

Abstract

 Despite of twenty year efforts of Georgian Government, International Community and Friendly Countries of Georgia, the situation in the conflict resolution is not getting better. Russian-Georgian War in 2008 turned out to be fatal for Georgia the disastrous results of which radically changed the political reality of the region. The results of war encroached the national interests of Georgia, including the prospects for conflict resolution in the first place. 20% of Georgian territory is occupied. Aft er the war, we completely lost the control on the Kodorigorge and Akhalgoriregion. While the International Community and even the Russian Federation have repeatedly recognized Georgia in its borders, Russia, neglecting the fundamental principles of International Law (in particular, the territorial integrity) recognized Abkhazia and so-called South Ossetiaas Independent States. Unfortunately, aft er the war, Abkhazia and so-called South Ossetia were considered towards Georgia as separated regions.
