About the Journal

The international refereed and peer-reviewed journal “Law and World” is a stable online and printed platform for the works of legal scholars. It has been published since 2015 and ensures the publication of works of high scientific value worldwide. This is a periodical of the European University Institute of Law.

High scientific quality academic articles of the legal field are published in the Journal. An article can be prepared about any pressing legal issue. Current issues of all branches of law are equally important to us.

Articles can be published by scholars from any country, who qualify the requirements of the “Law and World”.

Open access policy

The “Law and World” is an open access journal. It offers free, rapid and constant access to a reader, worldwide, and for authors – wide dissemination of published articles and their placement in the rated international scientific databases and digital repositories. The journal is a signatory to the Budapest and Berlin Open Access Declarations.

Copyright

Copyrights are ensured under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license in Creative Commons database. Within the framework of the current legislation, a reader is free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, research and use the full text of the article without registration and prior permission from the publisher and/or author.

The author retains copyright for the paper and grants the journal the opportunity for initial publication. The article is also licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. The license permits further use, with attribution to the author and original publisher.

Authors are allowed to reproduce their own papers, but they are required to credit the journal as the source of the original publication.

Language

Articles are published in English, or Georgian-English Languages. Each article is being professionally checked.

Cost of publication

Publishing of the article in the journal “Law and World”, as well as, the technical and linguistic correction of the text, is free of charge.

Termes

The electronic version of the journal is four times a year:

In March (Spring Edition);

In June (Summer Edition);

In September (Autumn Edition);

In December (Winter Edition).

A digital version of the planned volume is placed on the official webpage on the last day of the issuing month, whereas the printed version can be published later, however, not later than ten days after publishing a digital version.
