- The Journal “Law and World” publishes works of academic staff, researchers, PhD students and practicing lawyers;
- The article should be prepared on any topical issue of law;
- Publication procedure in „Law and World“ is free of charge for all authors. The journal doesn’t have any article processing charges. The journal doesn’t have any Article submission charges;
- The work presented in the journal must be result of original research. Compilation of texts, in which the author’s research and its final provisions are not given, will not be accepted;
- Manuscript must be represented as its primary publication. It must not be submitted for publication or being published elsewhere;
- It is crucial to maintain academic style of the paper, objectivity of citation, the style established and represented by the Worlds Scientific Community;
- Author should indicate academic degree, academic position, education, employment, city, country, and e-mail;
- Articles should be represented individually or with co-authorship;
- In case of two or more authors, the contact person with whom the editorial office will communicate should necessarily be indicated. In addition, it is mandatory to provide contact information for all co-authors;
- Manuscript undergoes plagiarism (content uniqueness) verification through the Turnitin program and after that it is sent to the reviewers;
- If the program confirms plagiarism, the article will not be published and the author representing plagiarism will no longer have right to publish in „Law and World“;
- After publication, the work will be available to any reader and no additional written consent is needed from author;
- The article can be received by uploading it on the journal website, as well as sending it by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org;
- Editorial Board doesn’t submit the issue of manuscript’s publication if it will not be complied in accordance with „Law and World“ requirements.
- Double-blind peer review is mandatory for all scientific manuscripts in Law and World journal.
- The reviewer is selected by the editor-in-chief through the consultation with the members of editorial board;
- The reviewer does not have information about whose paper he is reviewing, while the author has not information who should be the reviewer of his paper;
- Reviewers are scholars from different universities around the world, whose competence and academic interests are relevant to the content of the article;
- The reviewer should be a member of editorial board;
- If the paper receives one positive and one negative review, it is sent to a third reviewer;
- The evaluation process of the article lasts for 3-4 weeks, however, as an exception, the term should be extended for a reasonable period upon the request of the reviewer;
- Recommends the publication of the paper in its current form;
- Allows the author to review the paper with specific instructions;
- Does not recommend publishing the paper (negative review). If reviewer assess the manuscript with minimum 70 points according to the reviewer evaluation form it’s considered as positive review;
9. If reviewer recommends the refinement of the paper, editorial board offers the author to take into account the existing recommendations or to substantiate his position;
10. Once the author agrees, he should bring the paper in line with the submitted recommendations within 2 months; The final review on the edited text is done by the same reviewer;
11. If the author does not agree with the reviewer’s remarks, the issue of publication is decided by the editorial board;
12. In case of disagreement between the members of the editorial board, the final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
The author who publishes article in „Law and World“ with this journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal;
- Journal holds International license: CC BY-SA -This license lets others remix, adapt, and build upon your work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms;
- Author is able to distribute journal’s published version of the work non-exclusively (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
- Articles may be submitted in the Georgian, English, Russian, French, Spanish and German languages (with the mandatory resume in English);
- The work submitted for publication shall be in accordance with the APA citation style of the American Psychological Association;
- The article should not exceed 20 printed pages, including appendix and spreadsheets;
- The article should be formed as follows:
- Title of the article;
- Full name, last name, academic degree and job title of the author (s);
- Resume (in English);
- Three keywords in the language the article is written and in English (the keyword more or less reflects that the work possesses to scientific discipline and the key concepts discussed in it. Do not use abbreviations as well as general and terms containing several concepts).
- The text may contain an introduction and conclusion;
- Footnote – in the text – at the end of the pages (in the language of publication) and at the end of the text – in English
- List of literature (bibliography) in English at the end of the text;
- The submitted article should be typed in A 4 format, font size 12, font (Georgian – Sylfaen; English – Arial / Times New Romans)
- The text of the work should be at the distance of 2.54 cm, (1 inch) from the left and right sides of the page;
- The author should provide the text, set up in accordance with the linguistic terms.
- Footnote (notes, verified literature, explanations and references of the author) should be placed in the text at the bottom of the pages (Sylfaen font in Georgian, Times New Roman – in English), at 1 interval, font size 10 (footnote shall be indicated by numbers, and the notes and definitions – by asterisks).
- The footnotes shall be written at the bottom of the page in the same language of the given literature as the following:

- The footnote shall be written in English at the end of the text;
- Bibliography which is not listed in the footnote, although the author used them in the article, should be placed at the end of the article (Sylfaen font in Georgian and Times New Roman in English font size 10.) without indication of pages, after the footnote – translated into English.
- Abstract of the work should include a description of the problems, methods and results of the research, it should briefly and accurately reflect the main content of the article and the results of the research, and should convey the essence of the work in the way that makes it possible for the reader to understand scientific problems without reading the publication itself.
- Abstract should not contain such material which is not in the main text of the article, should be concise and clear, free from excessive words, distinguished by the persuasiveness of the wording;
- Abstract is made in English only and should contain 150 – 250 words.
- Journal annually publishes three planed issues – in April, August and December;
- It is possible to publish an additional or special issue at any time of the year;
- The deadline for submitting the article for each issue are announced by the editor-in-chief;
- The electronic version of the planned issue is uploaded on the official website at the last date of the month of publication, and the printed version should be published later, but not later than two weeks after the publication of the electronic version.
