Abstract: The need to differentiate forms of mediation in Georgia and, therefore, to regulate judicial powers during the process of the each single form, significantly determines the opportunities for overcoming the challenges faced in the process of institutionalization of mediation, as well as, creates an efficient and flexible nationwide system of dispute resolution. However, its legal regulation is a prerequisite for the realization of the interests of subjects of law, the establishment of legal awareness and the improvement of the judicial system.
